Foil Scrim Tape

Foil scrim tape has a combined backing of aluminum foil, kraft paper, and fiberglass scrim (lining). Foil-scrim-kraft Tape backing is glass fiber reinforced aluminum foil coated with hot melt adhesive and protected by a silicone paper liner. Foil scrim kraft tape backing is formed by a set of fiberglass yarns, in a transverse arrangement, where these are spaced from each other at a distance of 5mm.The Foil-scrim backing is 18um Aluminum foil laminated with the 2-way scrim 5x5mm.

Foil-scrim-kraft is a flame retardant, vapor-barrier, and it is one of the most commonly used facings in the insulation industry today. Foil scrim tape offers high puncture and tear resistance, ensuring a long life and durability in various conditions and applications. The combined backing properties result in a strong tape that provides a barrier against vapor.
