Aluminum Foil Tape Features

  •

    Temperature Resistance

    Acrylic adhesives perform well across a broad temperature range, typically from as low as -40°F to as high as 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). This makes them suitable for applications subject to extreme temperatures.

  •

    Moisture and UV Resistance

    The inherent properties of acrylic adhesives include excellent resistance to moisture, UV rays, and other environmental factors, which prevents degradation over time.

  •

    Aging Properties

    Acrylic adhesives are known for their superior aging properties. They do not yellow or lose adhesion over time, which is crucial for applications requiring longevity.

  •

    Flexibility

    While generally less flexible than rubber-based adhesives, acrylic adhesives still offer good conformability, which can be sufficient for many industrial and construction applications.

  •

    Strong Adhesion

    The acrylic adhesive provides a reliable bond to various surfaces, including metal, plastic, and wood.

Aluminum Foil Tape Applications

Acrylic Adhesive Aluminum Foil Tape will have good aging stability, high resistance to UV, ozone and humidity. It is a popular choice in various industrial, construction, and DIY applications where sealing, insulation, and moisture protection are required.

  • Sealing glazed units in double glazing industry;
  • Heat reflection and screening in electronics industry;
  • Joining foil faced, glass fibre or rockwool;
  • Sealing metal or plastic ducting;
  • Sealing cold store insulation;
  • Fixing sound proofing to sheet aluminum;
  • Masking off plastic components during manufacture.
