Black Aluminum Tape

Black Aluminum Tape is a type of adhesive tape that is made from a thin layer of aluminum foil coated with a black, heat-resistant adhesive on one side. It’s backing is 30 micron (1.2mil) Matte black Aluminum foil, combined with a high performance solvent acrylic adhesive, protected by an easy-release silicone release paper. The black color of the tape not only provides a sleek and professional appearance but also helps in applications where a black finish is desired for aesthetic reasons or to blend in with the surrounding environment. Matte black finish does not reflect light.

Black aluminum tape will be offer good tack and adhesion to width range of temperature (from -30 degrees to 150 degrees).The  aluminum foil tape will be good aging stability, high resistance to UV, ozone and humidity, best useful in long-term, outdoor applications.

Aluminum Foil Tape Applications:

Black Aluminum tape is primarily used in the entertainment industry for blocking and suppressing spills and leakages on heat generating equipment such as projectors, light cans, barndoors, and similar equipment. Lighting decorators / engineers can use it to create shadows, form barn doors and adapt gobos. Used in situations where extreme heat might otherwise burn flags or cutters. Also used in the construction industry for joining elastomeric insulation systems.
