Insulation Facing Description

 

The Foil-Scrim-Kraft Vapor Barrier is a specialized insulation facing material used in the construction industry to provide thermal insulation, moisture control, and vapor barrier functions in building assemblies. This Foil Vapor Barrier material consists of a laminated composite structure that includes layers of foil, scrim, and kraft paper, each contributing specific properties to enhance the overall performance of the insulation system. Its composite structure combines the benefits of foil, scrim, and kraft paper to enhance energy efficiency, durability, and moisture management in insulation systems.

Foil vapor barrier R716A is a quality grade insulation facing with 3-way scrim and 60gsm kraft. Foil-Scrim-Kraft Vapor Barrier is laminated 5 layers of structure, the outer layer is aluminum foil and kraft paper. The middle layer is the hlass fiber layer double side coated with adhesive, it increased tensile strength of FSK, and the aluminum foil and kraft paper are firmly bonded.

1. Insulation Systems: FSK vapor barriers are commonly used in thermal insulation systems for walls, ceilings, floors, and roofs to enhance energy efficiency, thermal performance, and moisture control in buildings.
