Insulation Facing Description

 

Foil-kraft-scrim facing FKSE-7151A is a industrial strength foil scrim kraft insulation.The insulation facing with 3-way scrim and 50gsm Kraft as well as heat-activated polyethylene on its back. No need for extra adhesive when using this foil scrim kraft paper.The thicker Kraft provides neat apperance and enhances tensile strength, tear resistant and durability.

The aluminum foil reflects radiant heat, contributing to a more energy-efficient building envelope by reducing heating or cooling demands depending on the season. The kraft paper layer helps prevent moisture from entering the insulation, which can reduce its effectiveness and potentially lead to mold growth. The scrim layer reinforces the facing, making it more tear-resistant and easier to handle during installation.
