FSK facing insulation FKSE-7161A is a improved commercial grade Heat-sealing Foil-kraft-scrim Insulation Facing with 3-way scrim and 60gsm Kraft as well as heat-activated polyethylene on its back. No need for extra adhesive when using this foil scrim kraft paper. The thicker Kraft provides neat apperance and enhances tensile strength, tear resistant and durability. FSK facing insulation is an insulation product that is both a vapor barrier and a flame retardant.
FSK facing insulation is mainly used under roof decking, under attic rafters, over existing attic insulation, in floors, walls and crawl spaces, and in industrial and commercial buildings as radiant barrier to block radiant heat coming ductworks and cold rooms combining with traditional insulation, the FSK facing also helps protect the surface, hold the insulation together and fasten the material to building components.
