PSK tape is a high-strength laminated material consisting of polypropylene film, scrim, and kraft paper, combined with a solvent-based acrylic adhesive. The tape is protected by a silicone release liner for easy application and excellent adhesive bonding. Its robust construction resists tearing, moisture, UV damage, and environmental degradation, making it ideal for long-term use in demanding conditions.
The tape is designed to seal insulation and prevent moisture infiltration, preserving the thermal performance of fiberglass, mineral wool, and other PSK faced insulation materials. The tape also plays a crucial role in improving energy efficiency in buildings by ensuring insulation materials maintain their integrity.
Customers can choose from three distinct PSK faced insulation colors: Black PSK, White PSK, or Silver FSK (Foil-Scrim-Kraft. Black and White PSK options are designed for aesthetically sensitive applications, while Silver FSK is suited for traditional uses behind walls or ceilings.
