Our Foil Scrim Tape features a precision-engineered 4-layer construction designed for maximum performance and reliability:
Aluminum Foil Top Layer: Available in 18μm or 25μm thickness, this layer provides superior heat and light reflection, effectively reducing heat transfer and preventing energy loss in HVAC systems.
Reinforced Scrim Mesh: A 2-way scrim (5x5mm or 12.5x12.5mm grid) is laminated between the foil and adhesive layer, delivering enhanced tensile strength, tear resistance, and structural integrity to the tape, ensuring it maintains its sealing performance even under mechanical stress.
High-Performance Adhesive Layer: We offer three adhesive formulations to suit different application scenarios:
--Rubber-resin adhesive for excellent initial tack and strong permanent adhesion
--Solvent acrylic adhesive for reliable all-weather performance
--Cold weather solvent acrylic adhesive for low-temperature environments down to -30°C
Easy-Release Silicone Release Liner: A protective silicone-coated release paper that prevents the adhesive from drying out, ensures easy peeling during application, and simplifies installation without special tools.
